I had lots of late night emergency lockouts this week, in Sutton Coldfield, Kingstanding, Harbourne, Selly Oak and Tamworth. You may think that all locksmiths spend a lot of time out on late night lockouts, but to be honest we don't. Although I'm always on call (24 hours a day, 7 days a week) I don't normally go out at night every day of the week. I was out every night this week though. Normally lockouts seem to go to the national companies, who have the big adverts, who then sub it out. Emergency locksmith work is always enjoyable. You can always tell which house you're looking for, as they'll be someone outside, milling about, generally looking fed up!
I also had a few broken Upvc locking mechanisms to replace and a couple to adjust. It's always worth phoning us if you think you're upvc door isn't locking properly, because if you don't, they usually only get worse and rather than just have them adjusted, they may well break and you wil end up having to have the whole thing replaced. Much cheaper to have it sorted first. Prevention is better than cure!
