This is not just a surface finish. This is solid bronze, highly polished and protected with a wax coating. This will retain its brilliance if polished, or it can be left to age gracefully as the bronze oxidises. |
Real Bronze (Metal Antiqued)

This finish is produced by taking highly polished, solid bronze pieces and putting them through a special process which rapidly oxidises the surface. The appeal of this natural finish is that, with constant handling, the oxide film will wear down to reveal the beauty of the polished bronze beneath. Surfaces that are not handled, or only handled occasionally, will continue to oxidise.
